Science Angel Syndicate is looking for businesses that fit into the following investment thesis

• Companies registered in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland)

• S/EIS eligible - We will only invest in businesses that are S/EIS eligible. We will complete investments once you have received HMRC advance assurance

• Ambition to impact society on a large scale

• One or more scientific disciplines are fundamental to the technology you are developing

• Inherent novelty to your approach, ideally where your USP builds on new advances in our scientific understanding

• Clear defensibility for your technology (e.g. a combination of IP and know-how)

• Platform Technologies

• Sectors: HardTech, DeepTech, Life Sciences, Advanced Materials, MedTech, Digital Health

• Stage: Pre-seed to Series A
